Coverciano Pro Training / Florence guided tour Breakfast at your hotel then transfer to Coverciano, the Italian Soccer National Centre for a pro training. Coverciano – created and wanted by 2 important Florence people, Luigi Ridolfi and Dante Berretti, who wanted to create one sole point to join all the numerous activities of the Italian Soccer, from the technical and sport point of view. It was officially opened in 1958, on November the 6th Coverciano is equipped also with a swimming pool and a gym. One of their FIGC qualified coach will be there to teach you all the secrets of the Italian ‘Calcio’! At the end transfer to Florence, well known as the “Cradle of the Renaissance”. Lunch on own then enjoy a walking guided tour across its main beautiful works of art. Firenze: In a valley on the banks of the River Arno and set among low hills covered with olive groves and vineyards, Florence is immediately captivating. Cradle of the Renaissance and home of Machiavelli, Michelangelo and the Medici, the city seems unfairly burdened with art, culture and history. Your guided tour will touch Piazza della Signoria, the cathedral and other highlights of the historical centre. Free rest of the time to enjoy the city on your own. Once arrived free time in the city for visiting the main square, Piazza dei Miracoli and the historical city centre. Pisa: Once, in briefly, a maritime power to rival Genoa and Venice, Pisa now draws its frame from an architectural project gone terribly wrong: its Leaning Tower. But the city offers quite a deal more: indeed the tower is only one element of the trio of Romanesque beauties astride the green carpet of Campo dei Miracoli – along with Piazza San Marco in Venice one of Italy’s most memorable squares. North Italy departure / Bologna leisure time / Game #2 After breakfast, hotel check out and departure to the north with Milan as your final destination. On the way stop in Bologna: the city is famous for being an old university city and for having two 100 meters high towers! Towers are dated back to the 1100 DC period. Take the chance to go to the top for a beautiful panorama! (entry ticket not included) Bologna is called “The Learned City”. This refers to its supremacy in having the oldest University in Europe. It was founded at the end of the 11th century. The history of the University can be discovered with these fascinating itineraries, visiting: the Archiginnasio Palazzo, the Anatomical Theatre, the University Collections, and the Medieval Museum. Bologna also excels with another unique feature: it is the city with the most porticoes in the world. In all, it has 40 kilometres of arcades that create a very special atmosphere. The city’s landscape is also made up of a large number of medieval towers. The most impressive ones are the famous Two Towers: real Medieval sky-scrapers! Climbing to the top of the Asinelli Tower, with its breath-taking view, is an incredible experience. Alternatively Bologna is very famous for its stuffed pasta: enjoy a Pasta Cooking Class to learn how to make the best pasta ever at home (not included, to be booked in advance)!
